Dylan's obsession this week has been catching animals in his net. He loves going to the pond to try and catch frogs. When we can't go to the pond he hunts for squirrels, cats and birds in the neighborhood. I'm not that exciting to Dylan (or a very good frog hunter, according to him), so Dylan was ecstatic when Joel was able to come frog hunting with us! On our (or Joel's) first try we caught the biggest frog in the pond!!!!
He was so big that I that he didn't even bother to struggle that much. He had to be about 4-5 inches across when he was laying flat on the ground.
Here is the big one!!The boys were really excited and now Dylan's goal is to catch it himself. We told him it might take some practice, but hopefully soon Dylan will be the one to snatch up a frog!
