Listen to what Dylan is most excited about on his first day of preschool.
If you had a hard time hearing it, he said that he was excited that his mom was going to leave him by himself. It is nice that we don't have separation issues.
Dylan was super excited to spend the morning with Teacher Jill and Teacher Nancy. We had a special breakfast of pancakes made into the shape of a school house and apple (thanks for the cookie cutters, grandma). I told him that there is one day during each school year that I want to take pictures of him and to my surprise he let me take them without a fight, YEAH!
He was really excited to give his teacher the playdoh he made. He handed it to her and said in his funny voice, "Look how red we made it!".
When I picked up Dylan his teacher said that he had a great morning and was VERY enthusiastic! It would have been fun to be a fly on the wall. I think he will have a great year at preschool!
